Time For Miracles:
Adam Lambert’s new video, “Time for Miracles”, was supposed to debut this morning. However, the video was leaked and found on myspace as well as on youtube late last night. I know I must’ve watched the video close to twenty times before it was even supposed to be released. The song was recorded for the movie about the end of the world titled 2012.
Judging from the song and the lyrics of “Time for Miracles”, it is a good song that seems perfect for a movie about the apocalypse. It isn’t the most amazing song I’ve ever heard(although Adam’s vocals are amazing as always). I expect AMAZING things from his new album and can’t wait to get my hands on it. “Time for Miracles” gives me the feeling I had when I first heard the studio recording of “No Boundaries.” It wasn’t the best song in the world, but Adam can take any song and make it one of the best songs you’ve ever heard. Most of us Glamberts are excited about Adam Lambert’s single “Want” which was recently debuted on the internet at PerezHilton.com. We can not get enough of Adam’s flawless vocals. However, “Want” is not an official single from Adam Lambert’s forthcoming album which will be out this fall. Adam recorded the song for Hi Fi Recordings/Wilshire Records as part of the album titled “On With the Show” prior to his run on American Idol.
Adam talked about “Want” saying, “Back in 2005, when I was a struggling artist, I was hired as a studio singer to lend my vocals to tracks written by someone else. I was broke at the time and this was my chance to make a few bucks, so I jumped at the opportunity to record for my first time in a professional studio. The work I did back then in no way reflects the music I am currently in the studio working on. I’m thrilled to be working with some of today’s hottest songwriters and producers and can’t wait for people to hear what my music really sounds like.”
Although Adam makes “Want” sound like it is nothing compared to the music he is currently working on with RedOne(Lady GaGa’s producer), Hi Fi says, “Adam co-wrote many of the tracks that will appear on On With the Show … right before his meteoric rise to prominence. These recent recordings from his partnership with Wilshire, an LA-based production and publishing company, are drenched in Lambert’s signature pop/rock sound and style.”
When I first heard the song “Want”, I will admit I wasn’t impressed with the song. Adam’s vocals are amazing as always, but I look forward to his album due out in the fall which will show us Adam’s true music style and talent.

With Stephenie Meyers’ Twilight saga so popular these days, and Adam Lambert’s recent rise to fame on the hit show American Idol, I’m sure it has run through many of our minds that Adam would make a perfect Edward Cullen. Randy Jackson definitely saw some potential in Adam to play the role of Edward Cullen as he pointed out twice during season 8 that his look reminded him of Robert Pattinson and Twilight. With his gorgeous blue eyes, jet black hair, and sex appeal, Adam has all the qualities that would make a good vampire.
During the Young Hollywood Awards on Sunday, June 7th, Adam Lambert met up with Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke. He saw this as the perfect opportunity to try out for a part in the upcoming Twilight saga movies(New Moon is being filmed now). He put on his best vampire act and tried to bite(and lick) Catherine’s neck. Adam has been so busy these days that little did he know that Catherine Hardwicke is not involved with the future Twilight saga movies. Catherine didn’t seem to mind though from the smiles on her face in the photos with Adam. Then again, who wouldn’t want Adam to suck the blood out of their neck and turn them into a vampire to spend eternity with him?

Adam Lambert has officially announced that he is gay in the latest Rolling Stone issue to be on stands this friday(see my featured article). Just last week, Adam was spotted out and about and holding hands with Drake LaBry.
Kris Allen has met Drake, and he spoke kind words of both Adam and Drake. He said, “I think he’s happier that he can be himself and it’s nice. Adam is who he is and he’s not afraid. I support him in whatever he does.” He added that Drake is “a really nice guy” and that they are a “cool combination” because Adam is from California and Drake is from Louisiana. “They click well and they’re really nice together,” Kris says of the couple.
It’s nice to hear good things about Drake from someone who has met him. Hopefully he will treat Adam like the royalty that he is! Adam deserves no less.
